NB: Hopscotch, skipping, running, shouting, ball games, singing, card games, marbles, leapfrog, conkers (except in Spring) are all BANNED from Family Funland due to health and safety reasons. British Bulldog and mass scraps are still allowed.
Next up for family is the hi-tech extravaganza that is Arcadia.net. Here you can find all the latest top-of-the-range state-of-the-art only-just-released absolutely-brand-new drink and crisp vending machines. After recently speaking with the owner they might even be getting a cash till one day.
Unfortunaltly, Arcadie.net closed on the day it opened. Said owner Fred Tetley; 'I blame the parents, it's them that's teaching their kids to be scared of modern technology. That's what it is. During my day I was up at 4am delivering the paper. It's the parents it is. Them kids, thev' got no bloody respect no more. Chips were nicer in my day, but then they were cooked in lard. An you could get yer sen a skinfull, get yer sen a nice bit o' skirt, a bag o' fish an chips AND still have change for t' bus home, all from goin' out wi' half a penny.'.
